A Little About HAWES

Hawes is a truly awesome place to base a stay in the Yorkshire Dales.

Situated in Upper Wensleydale, there are 360 degree magnificent views from basically anywhere in Hawes.

Home to the Wensleydale Creamery, where the internationally renowned Wensleydale Cheese is born, there’s plenty to see and do in Hawes, though the area is perhaps most loved by walkers and those interested in active, outdoor, pursuits.

The town of Hawes offers much in the way of shops, cafes, tea rooms and restaurants, to suit most tastes, and also features a good small Spar convenience store, to give access to all basic amenities.

A petrol station in the town also offers electric charging, in case you need to refuel following a long journey to the middle of the Pennines.

A Little About Yorkshire Dales

The Yorkshire Dales are one of the best places to visit in Britain, and well worth a short stay.

Favoured in particular by walkers, mountain bikers, road cyclists and others who enjoy time in the outdoors, the Yorkshire Dales has some amazing scenery to enjoy on a short or long holiday.
