Visit Bempton Cliffs, the RSPB nature reserve with viewing platforms, to see Puffins,Gannets, Guillemots etc (seasonal). Excellent location to visit Wharrem Percy deserted medieval village, the Norman Mound of Seaskip Castle or Burton Agnes Manor House. Flanborough has the oldest operational lighthouse in the UK. Bridlington Animal Park only 15 minutes away. Nearby Hornsea is part of the Sustrans national cycle route 65/the Hornsea Rail Trail plus has the largest freshwater lake in Yorkshire. York Cathedral can be reached within approx 1 hour, Flamingoland, Castle Howard and Malton are all en route. East Riding leisure centre has two state-of-the-art water slides, a splash and play zone and swimming pool. No smoking. Pub and shop within 0.1 miles. Note: The property is situated above a family friendly pub serving good food with a beer garden for those lovely sunny days, please note the pub is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Please note that due to the character of this property, there are steep stairs up to the apartment. There are also two steps from the landing to the bathroom and two of the bedrooms. Please note, property is not suitable for babies, toddlers and people with mobility issues, due to the steps.
